Why have ads?

They help pay the bills. But you won't find any that aren't of interest to people in the sound production community or those who have websites. You won't find annoying pop-ups for totally irrelevant products and sites. We do use pop-unders - messages from others in this field that will only appear after you quit our site.

If anyone advertising on this site causes problems for you, let me know!

The resources in the free access zone are available to all at no charge. In return we may place relevant ads to help pay the costs of maintaining the site.

Additional resources, including an on-line sound production course, are located on the 'members only' zone. Ads there are accepted on a much more limited basis, and only if they are likely to be of interest to members.

Placement

Ads may be placed within the body copy on a relevant page, or in the sidebar to the right of the main text in a page. Premium ads may also occupy the top right corner above the 'Page last updated' line.
