Can't access members' zone

Have you renewed your membership?
Your membership may have expired. You can log in and view your membership profile, but clicking on the Go To tab won't give you any options to access either of the members' zones. Renew your membership to gain access.

Are you a Standard (Silver 1 month or Gold 3 month) Member trying to access the Platinum Zone?
The Platinum zone containing the on-line Audio Production Skills Program is for Platinum members only. Clicking the Go To tab will present you with only one option - 'Members' - which takes you to the standard members zone.

Are you a 7-day Trial Member who has cancelled?
You may have cancelled during your 7-day trial and tried to login again after expiry.

Password entry problems

Have you entered your password correctly?
Passwords are case-sensitive. If your password is xZ5pQ, then using all lower case xz5pq won't work.

Are you using zeros instead of Os or vice-versa?
Passwords contain numbers and letters - it's easy to confuse a O (Capital O) witha 0 (zero) with some fonts. A small L (l) and the number 1 can cause grief as well! Check that the characters you are entering are correct.

Have you entered your password by pasting?
Pasting a password from a confirmation email into the login box occasionally results in incorrect characters, depending on your browser/computer/operating system combination. Try entering the user name and password manually.

IE5 Settings which may need attention

Temporary Internet Files Settings
If you are using Internet Explorer 5 and having persistent login problems, I suggest you try the following:

  • From the Tools menu, select Internet Options - Click the Delete Files button on the General tab.
  • You are prompted to delete all temporary internet files - Ensure the option 'Delete all offline content' is checked
  • Click the OK button - then click the OK button on the Internet Options window
  • Close all Internet Explorer windows
  • Restart Internet Explorer and try again - Ensure that the browser is configured to "Accept All Cookies"

If the above doesn't correct the problem, I suggest you consider downloading a free copy of IE6 from the Microsoft Download Center

Known issues with PCs using Windows XP and IE6

Because the Cybermoney login server is secure, it must check the validity of the passwords that you enter.

The way it does this is to use a cookie which goes to www.cybermoney.com.au and returns an OK to your computer. However, cookies are not allowed in a standard install of IE6, so the site can't verify the user name and password and comes up with an error.

To solve the problem:

  • Go to Internet Options, then Privacy.
  • Select 'Web Sites' near the bottom, then go into 'Edit' on the right hand side, and in the 'Add Web Address', type www.cybermoney.com.au
  • Click on 'Allow' then OK, then OK again.
  • Shut down IE6 then restart and you should be able to log in without further problems.

Other IE6 Settings which may need attention

AutoComplete Settings
If you are using Internet Explorer 6 and having login problems that persist after trying the technique above, I suggest you try the following:
  • From the Tools menu, select Internet Options - Select the 'Content' tab - Click the 'AutoComplete' button.
  • A window titled 'AutoComplete Settings' appears:
Ensure 'User names and passwords on forms' option is NOT ticked
       Click the 'Clear Passwords' button
Click the 'OK' button in 'AutoComplete' settings window

  • Click the 'OK' button in 'Internet Options' window
  • Restart the computer
  • Try logging in again, using manual entry, i.e. do not copy and paste password from the email.

Privacy Settings
If you are still having login problems after trying the above, I suggest you try the following:

Browser settings for IE6 only:

  • From the Tools menu, select Internet Options - then select the Privacy tab
  • If the Settings slider is available, move the slider to the bottom. This allows the browser to 'Accept All Cookies'
  • If the Settings slider is not available, click the Default button. Clicking the Default button displays the slider.
  • Move the slider to the bottom. A confirmation appears beside the slider once the setting has been adjusted: 'Accept All Cookies'. The site will not work if this setting isn't turned on, so click the Apply button
  • Click the OK button
  • Close all Internet Explorer windows - Restart Internet Explorer and try again.
